The Robertson County Health Council is passionate about suicide prevention awareness and together we are hosting the “Whether you walk it or run it, just keep going!” 5K to increase suicide prevention awareness and promote organizations that can support individuals experiencing mental health challenges and/or thoughts of suicide. Through our collective effort, we hope individuals in Robertson County find hope, healing, and the strength to just keep going!
In 2023, Tennessee lost 1,279 individuals to suicide. Even one life lost to suicide is one too many. Individuals living in rural communities are often at greater risk of suicide than those living in metro areas. As such, the Robertson County Health Council felt it was important to host this event in Robertson County to increase suicide prevention awareness in our community. The cost of this race is $12.79, this is intentional to remember the 1,279 Tennesseans who died by suicide.
We invite you to join us on September 12th! Sign up now to either walk or run with us. If you would like to help the Robertson County Health Council promote messages of hope, resilience, and that help is available by sponsoring this 5K, there are several sponsorship opportunities:
- T-shirt Sponsorship: $300
- Organization’s logo would be included among 12 logos that would be placed on the back of race t-shirt. Organization will need to email Health Council a monochrome logo for t-shirt and a multicolor logo for social media highlight reels and race day shout outs. Company name and logo will be included in various media promotions related to the event and in a highlight reel that will be played during the event.
- Prominent real estate to host a table that highlights your organization and any services/resources that your organization may provide.
- Mile Marker Sponsorship: $75
- Organization’s logo placed on a yard sign that is posted along the race route. Markers will be placed every ¼ or ½ mile depending on the number of sponsors received. Each mile marker sponsorship will be for 2-yard signs.
- Company name and logo will be included in various media promotions related to the event and in a highlight reel that will be played during the event.
If you are unable to sponsor, please know that there are still ways that you can get involved. We invite any organization that fosters health, hope, and/or healing to have a table that highlights your organization and any services/resources that your organization may provide.
