Lauren Patterson called the meeting to order on August 13, 2025.
APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes from the previous meeting (June 11 th , 2025) were approved with a motion
from Makalya Willbanks and seconded by Donny King.

Robertson County Prevention Coalition- Stacey Young
o Chair of Robertson County Prevention Coalition
There is a meeting tomorrow at noon @ Library for the
Robertson County Prevention Coalition.
Guest Next Month – Presenting Suicide Prevention Efforts
The County and City leaders have been invited to next
months meeting to learn more about the efforts of the
Health Council in Suicide Prevention.
CHIP WORK GROUPS: 4.2 and 4.4 worksheets were completed by work
groups.

Next Work Group Meetings:
Adult Obesity: September 10th, 1 hour before next Health Council Meeting,
11:30am @ Vol State
Mental Health: September 2nd, from 2:00-3:00pm, Boardroom at Stokes Brown
Public Library
Drug Overdose/Substance Misuse: TBD, will communicate further with next
meeting date.
COMMUNITY ANNOUNCEMENTS
Lauren- Health Fair/Career fair on October 24 th , @ Green Brier Middle School
o Exposure for health careers as well as what services are available.
October 25 th , Casa@robertsonCounty.gov Contact if you would like to be a
vendor.
Tiffany Thomson: Community Action Team, evaluating the resources that
family have. How can we create the best start possible for out Residents?

Walk for Lives September 20 th
