CASA of Robertson County is having their annual Human Foosball Tournament during the Discover White House event at White House Heritage High School on April 18th. Teams of five can register by emailing casaofrobertsoncounty@gmail.com. This is a great way to be active and support a local organization!  We are still promoting the RCSTN Challenge which is a family friendly 5K and 1 mile fun run that supports Robertson County Schools! We encourage everyone to like, follow and share RCSTN Challenge on Facebook and Twitter and sign up for the race!

  • Robertson County Extension is still taking applications for a health volunteer training that begins April 7th. Participants receive 40 hours of education and in return, provide 40 hours of volunteer service. We are hoping to have more trained volunteers in Robertson County to serve in areas that are needed in the community and that they are passionate about whether it is youth substance abuse prevention, physical activity, etc. These volunteers could be very useful in helping with health council initiatives. Please contact Lauren Patterson at lpatte20@utk.edu for more information.
  • No updates on NAMI.
  •  For youth development opportunities, Robertson County 4-H has many overnight and day camp opportunities this summer for 4th grade and up. Scholarships are available for some camps. Contact Kathy Finley at kfinley@utk.edu.

Please note during our committee breakouts “Vulnerable Populations” (Danielle Frazier is the lead, but was out at a conference today) discussed the following:
